Studying for a degree means a lot of hard work, but there’s also plenty of time to relax and enjoy yourself. The list of societies, sports teams and clubs you can join as part of the Students’ Union is almost endless. Alongside the usual sporting activities such as football, rugby, running and rowing, we have societies in everything from anime to musical theatre and yoga.

If you are more of a spectator than a competitor then you can visit some of the most iconic sporting arenas in the world, including Wembley Stadium, Lord’s Cricket Ground and Wimbledon. From Arsenal to Chelsea, six Premier League football clubs call London home.

  • Our 45-acre Quintin Hogg Sports Ground at Chiswick includes football, rugby, cricket and hockey pitches, netball courts, tennis courts, and a boathouse.
  • The Students' Union boasts over 100 dedicated sports clubs and societies.
  • Last year the Students’ Union organised 520 society events.
