Who is required to register with the police?
Nationals of certain countries were up to the start of August 2022 required to register with the police if in the UK for longer than 6 months.
On the 5 August The UK Government advised that Police Registration has been suspended with immediate effect. If you have been issued with a visa with the requirement to register on it you now do not need to register
As well as suspending the need to register we have been advised that students making a Student Visa Application after 4 August 2022 will not be required to include their Police Registration Certificate as part of their Student Visa Application.
