Why did you choose the University of Westminster?

The best way to understand an experience at a university is speaking to someone who has lived the life there. I had the opportunity to speak to the alumni of the University and that acted as a catalyst in my decision to choose this university. Everyone spoke highly of the teaching staff, extracurricular activities and the academic and emotional support provided by the University. Additionally, students have access to all the campuses in London and all its facilities. Academically, I loved the course structure, but the profile of the teachers and their personal achievements tipped my decision further to choose the University of Westminster.

How has your experience been studying in London?

As an entrepreneurship student in London, you can expect to have access to a diverse and culturally rich environment, with many opportunities for social and academic engagement and business opportunities. London is also safe a great location. Students studying at the University of Westminster have easy access to the rest of the city by public transportation.

What have you particularly enjoyed about your course?

This Master's course fits right into my profile as it allows you to experience innovation and real-life problem solving. My previous experiences as an entrepreneur came into use to creatively solve the given problems and further cultivate my entrepreneurial mindset. All the core modules on this course helped develop critical outside-the-box thinking and challenge the mind by keeping me out of my comfort zone. The Semester 1 and 2 modules are chronologically taught from starting your own business, to funding it, and then managing it, which is exactly what I expected out of the course. I loved that, by the end of your course, you have a business plan ready that has been reviewed and assessed by qualified and experienced academic professors who are extremely supportive throughout the journey. I highly recommend this course if you want to see an idea turn into a reality.

How have you found academic support as part of your studies?

The lecturers provided guidance and resources for me as I worked on the projects and assignments. They served as mentors, offering advice and feedback on my ideas and plans. Additionally, a lecturer's industry connections can be valuable for networking and potential business opportunities.

Are there any stand-out facilities associated with your course?

You will get to learn a lot of statistics through the IBM SPSS software platform which is an added skill to the resume. The free access to this premium software enables learning throughout the year.

Tell us about any activities that you have undertaken outside of your course

I have been using a lot of the gym facilities and have enjoyed playing basketball, badminton, table tennis and a range of other sports and activities on the allotted days and times. The University is very expansive in the resources it provides, owing to multiple campuses in London.
