Find a course

Applying for one of our postgraduate courses is simple – just click on the red 'Apply' button at the top of the course page.

There are two main ways to look through our courses:

Apply via UKPASS

Applications to our postgraduate courses are made via the UCAS Postgraduate (UKPASS) website.

To apply, click on the red 'Apply' button at the top of the course page and this will direct you to UKPASS website. When completing the application form remember to specify:

  • why you wish to enrol on the course
  • any relevant experience you have
  • why you think you should be given a place

Entry requirements

Course-specific entry requirements can be found on individual course pages.

Our typical postgraduate entry requirements are:

  • a good honours degree from a recognised university, or qualification or experience deemed to be equivalent
  • Minimum IELTS score of at least 6.5 overall (and minimum 5.5 in each component) or equivalent. English Language competency requirements vary among courses

Please check course-specific entry requirements on the individual course pages. Note that even if you meet our minimum entry requirements, we cannot guarantee you a place on the course.

Your application

Once we’ve received your application, we’ll send you an email confirmation. We aim to make a decision about your application and communicate this to you as soon as possible.

Some courses have additional requirements and you may need to attend an interview, submit a written assignment/portfolio or take a test.

International students

For entry requirements specific to your country, please visit our country pages. You can also view our English language requirements.

If you’re applying from outside the UK, we may have a representative in your country who can guide you through this application process. Check our list of country representatives.

We also attend exhibitions, presentations and interviewing sessions regularly around the world. Find out where we'll be in the coming months.

Recognition for prior learning or experience

If your course is related to your previous study or experience (paid or voluntary), you may be able to seek exemption from relevant modules.

For information, visit our recognition of prior learning page.

Students with disabilities

We welcome and encourage applications from students with disabilities and consider all applications on academic grounds. If you have a disability that might affect your studies, let us know when you apply, so that we can assist you wherever possible. For more information, please visit our Disability Learning Support pages.

Our terms and conditions

While courses are offered as described at the time of going to press (in the case of our prospectus), some revisions may be made, either as a result of academic development or external constraints. There is no guarantee that courses that are undergoing validation will be approved, or that courses will be offered in the exact locations cited. A ‘subject to approval’ notice is included on all course pages where the course is undergoing validation.
